Help! I Want to View My Handheld Animations on a Computer! How To Tips for You

Clean File Organization for a Complex Task

Organizing your files will make this task so much easier. Multiple files will be created in this process and so a suggestions is to create a folder called animations and another folder within the animation folder with a brief name for the content of your future animation work.

Hotsync the Handheld and Locate the Palm OS .pdb Files

Hotsync the handheld and locate the Palm Desktop <User> Folder. This folder is usually found in the Palm Folder in the hard drive.

Note: These .pdb files correspond to the number file from the Animate Me! handheld software. Files can be renamed and moved to the animation folder if desired. Knowledge of the location of the .pdb file(s) is important for the next step in working with PDB Explorer to extract the database files.

If working to extract image files from Sketcher or other handheld graphic software, locate the software's .pdb file(s) in the Backup folder for the <user>.
